Oh, sweetie. I wish I could make you feel better. As hard as living in your grandmother's house is, with all those reminders, I have to believe that when you can finally move, things will start to get better. Doing so might be premature, but have you thought about where you'll go? I know you have more immediate concerns, but I think imagining your path out is a healthful thing to do. What cities have opportunities that might be good for you? (For instance, could you work in an accounting firm somewhere, in a position that's not tied to tax season?)
You are strong, Greg. You might not feel that way, but I look at what you endure and think that I could never handle it the way you do.
Glad you are still with us. I would be making plans to move out of the South (Red Zone) period - ASAP. It is the worst possible place to live and receive any type of public assistance. Don’t walk, run!
Most important thing: Take care of yourself. I'm sorry things have been so rough for you lately and I hope when all the dust settles you'll be able to move forward...you've been handed a lot of stuff lately and it's okay to be a bit overwhelmed.
*hugs* While things are very tough and sad right now, at least you are still here, and we're all grateful for that.
I agree with Gabe: You now have two tax seasons' worth of experience under your belt - you might be able to get some sort of entry-level position in an accounting firm. Maybe someone at the tax preparation office could give you a good recommendation?

Who's going to flatter me all time otherwise? ;-)
