[Chloe awoke to blood caked to her form--and panicked. She screamed, then proceeded to take a freezing shower as she scrubbed her body raw until all traces of blood came off. Shaking, preturbed, scared, Chloe thumbs through her journal before flipping it open. Even now, she uses video.]

He activates his own video feed and manages to keep his tone even and calming, despite how upset he is right now.]
Honey, it's okay .. I'm Alex and your name is Chloe .. I'll do anything I can to help you through this, but you need to calm down, okay?

A-a-are you m-my... [She can't think of the word she wants to use just then, but he seemed friendly and concerned and he called her honey. Someone important to her used to call her that, right?]
Ch-Chloe. Y-you're Alex.
[She trying to calm down, honest, but waking to blood all over you isn't very condusive to that.]

Am I your .. oh .. OH! THAT! Ahh .. [And now it's Alex's turn to stammer a bit.] No .. I'm nothing more than a friend .. we're close and you're great, but .. [Alex .. just shut up .. He exhales and regathers himself, trying this again.] We're friends.
[But he's smiling still and he doesn't look mad at all about the suggestion .. just flustered. Derek would kill him. His voice is calmer as he continues.]
Something happened to you and you lost your memory .. things will clear up completely in a few days. This place is Holloway's Keep and you've been here for a little while now ..

Talia can relate to Chloe's fear and confusion all to well, having shared a similar situation recently. Her expression is concerned when she replies, her voice soft.]
Kitling .. it's alright .. you're amongst friends here. I know things are a jumble of confusion right now, and it will be alright, but I need you to calm yourself ..

[She looks somewhat confused there. People keep calling her that, but then they call her other things, too. Like honey and kitling and sweetling. It is nice, but all very confusing.]

[A lengthier pause here, as if Chloe doesn't want to ask this question, but forces it out with no small amount of uncertainty.]
A-am I really s-so t-terrible that I will refuse to f-forgive you?
[Because if she was, Chloe wasn't certain she'd want her memories back after all--even if she did have a boyfriend with a pretty fine chest.]

[That's the first time Chloe hears that, and it's quite a relief, actually. She doesn't quite understand why that means so much to her, though.]

[She doesn't remember how to cook, yet. Sadly, even when she regains her memories, cooking will still evade her.]
