I forgot to say that my friend Nicole came this weekend. We used to spend every summer together at church camp and we realized that out of the ten or twelve teenagers who used to hang out with us, three are now proud parents.

in the last few days summer has finally seemed to click. I will almost, almost be sad to see it over. Almost. Not quite. Niagara Falls was quite nice actually, it had been a while since I'd done more than just look at the falls. Cave of the Winds was pretty awesome. Kevin and Claire were sickeningly cute. harry potter was a rather ridiculous day. At two the line to get yellow wristbands was wrapped around Barnes and Noble, but I hadn't reserved one ahead of time so I walked in and got a blue wristband, then went to see Hairspray (which was absolutely wonderful) and came back to wait in line.
