Twenty years ago tonight, I was in Northglenn, CO. I was spending the night in a hotel there just off I-25 waiting for a snowstorm to end rather than try to cross the Rockies on I-70 in a snowstorm. As I am unemployed, I listen to a lot of radio (specifically, NPR) while trying to spend my days constructively. I notice something in the chatter of the talk shows which I wish people could notice and work to improve. I think it would help tremendously. Finished Certificate in Business
I got an "A" in my Accounting class which finishes up my Certificate in Business from UC Berkeley Extension. I finished up with 14 units of "A" and 2 units of "A-" (stupid finance class, !(*#(, ;-}). Not sure what that calculates to as a GPA but it's probably like a 3.9. I'm glad I ended up doing so well ( Read more... ) -

Back from vacation
I'm back from a few days visiting my relatives in the Baltimore area. I weighed myself this morning and I actually LOST weight on vacation!! How could that ever happen!? I was joking with my relatives (when I was eating all this food) that calories eaten on vacation don't count. Maybe I was right! -
What's up
I'm thinking about my flight this weekend SFO->IAH->BWI, visiting relatives in Baltimore area this holiday weekend. Meanwhile, I'm a little busy with school work. I'm spending this summer semester taking two classes (Accounting and Finance) so I'll be busy for the next few weeks then I'm going to try to get back to work. We'll see how it goes.
