While Mary was at work, George Michael went through the entire suite, looking for every liquor bottle he could find and dumping the contents down the kitchen drain, dispsing of the bottles. George Michael didn't think he should have to work on a holiday. So he was in bed, awake and contemplating actually getting up. He could stay in bed all day if he wanted. It was half his bed. Right?

The Country French restaurant, Le Refuge, was quaint and cozy, and though George Michael had never actually been to it before, he was hoping that the menu proved excellent so that he could impress Mary with his fine dining taste.

George Michael had showered, dressed in a black suit, and stood waiting in the living area for Mary to finish readying herself.
He hadn't told her yet, but he was taking her to the mainland, having planned a nice evening out for the two of them. Dinner... maybe they would go dancing afterwards.

He was sitting there, waiting for Mary to come home. Sitting and sitting and sitting and wishing he had a motorcycle. That thought came out of the blue and he willed it away because Mary had slept on the couch last night. And she wasn't home tonight.

It was a groggy, weary George Michael that fell into his bed Saturday night. He had no idea divorcing one's wife could take so long. The whole family was there. Because, well, they were Maeby's family too and that awkwardness took a toll on him that lasted all week long.

George Michael was flipping through the channels on the TV, trying really just to find something that was more or less background noise. He was too nervous to concentrate on watching anything right now and he paced back and forth, biting his nail occassionally and glancing at the clock.
