Baby is here!
Caroline Grace was born at 12:17am on December 1. She was determined to be a December baby. I was 41 weeks 1 day along at that point and so ready! No pictures online yet. Haven't gotten around to it. less than 2 weeks...
I'm 38 weeks, 4 days along... it's almost time. My mother's intuition is telling me that this baby will be born within 5 days of my due date, either before or after. I don't expect it to be any earlier than 5 days before, which would be this Saturday. I'm doing great, except for my back. It's hurting pretty back at this point and all I can do ( Read more... ) -
It's a.....
Well, I swore over and over that we would not be finding out the gender of this baby because I wanted it to be a surprise... but last week at my ultrasound I couldn't help myself. It's a GIRL!!!! I'm so thrilled that Madelyn will have a sister. It's what I was secretly hoping for. -

I'm so incredibly frustrated with my sister right now. She has been dating her fiance for a year and they are getting married next April. They have been living together since last September. What is frustrating me now is that she will not do anything without him. I realize it's a new relationship and you want to spend a lot of time together, ( Read more... ) -

I never thought something like this could happen at my school. It's truly horrific. Blacksburg is such a beautiful and peaceful town. We hardly even locked our doors. I cannot imagine what everyone is going through right now. As a fellow Hokie, my heart and prayers go out to all of the victims and their families. -

love that new car smell!!
I'm the proud owner of a brand new 2007 Honda Odyssey! After saying for years and years, "I will never drive a minivan," here I am. They are just too practical to pass up. I want at least one more, possibly two more children, and with more than one kid + all the kiddie gear, minivans are the way to go. More fuel efficient than an SUV and easier ( Read more... )
