Last week I discovered Geocaching, and have already been out on two trips already. I live in a major city in Canada, so practically all of my caches will be in the urban jungle. Also I like the idea of the virtual caches as I find it much easier to look for information than it is to look for micro caches ( Read more... )

I have been using a Magellan eXplorist GC for my caching adventures, and I like it, but I've never tried any other kind of GPS. I've been geocaching for a little over a year now and have found 89 caches. I've never done puzzle caches before, but I thought I ought to give them a try, or I'll be missing out on many caches that are not of the traditional type ( Read more... )

I just heard on the radio that someone found a "suspicious object" in a tree near a local recreation centre. They called the police. The police took pictures of it and sent the pictures to the bomb squad.
