So this entire week will basically be a prelude to the events of Friday. morganlan is coming up to visit us on Thursday night, but as nice as that is, it's not really the main event (Sorry Morgan, it's not that we don't love you, and of course we're looking forward to youf visit, but...well, you understand.) I'll be ecstatic about either outcome.

You could end up having twins and not have to worry about it.

At least I'll stop having to call the baby "the baby" or (even worse) having to call it "It."

Lets hope so.

As far as worrying goes, you come from a million generations of survivors, so the odds are in your favor. Still, there is a good chance that they were survivors in part because their parents worried so odds are you are stuck with that also. ;)

Yep, it sure is a kick in the head. I think your laid back nature will return after a while with the new baby. You aren't suddenly a completely different person with a kid. At least I wasn't.

I think you just captured everything Husband went through from the moment the at home pregnancy test came back positive to.....now! ;-)

And it's not all worry and gloom. As tiresome as it is it really is an indescribable joy. And that Elizabeth Stone quote, "Making the decision to have a child - it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body" takes on a whole new meaning.
