In just over a year, I have managed to finish my Masters degree. I turned in the last assignment about twenty minutes ago, and my grade will be posted by Wednesday. I have a 100% in the class at the moment, so even if I get a 0 on the Power Point I just submitted, I'll still pass with a B or C in the course. I finally had my follow-up appointment with the cardiologist after my Echo (an ultrasound of my heart). He says it looks like everything is pumping normally, and reminded me to stay away from caffeine. So far, that hasn't been a worry; I've been pretty proud of myself for avoiding it so carefully. I recently found out that I have a VERY MINOR arrhythmia in my heart. It basically means that my sense of rhythm is so bad, even my heart can't keep the right beat. My mom and I got into the Sherrard-Rock Island-Moline area around 10:30 a.m. We left around 7:00. The last few days have been pretty insane. On Friday, I had a huge zit, and I popped it, even though I know the doctors say not to. It kind of hurt, and I just wanted to relieve the pressure. Well, it got infected, and now I get a fever off and on, have green gunk oozing out of it, and it's incredibly painful. The swelling is extreme. The entire left half of my chin is swollen.
