As some of you know, I have recently fallen head-first into gleeful fannishness for the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime. (I am reading my way slowly through, and adoring, the manga it's based on. The old anime I have seen only a couple of episodes of, and that years ago. I'll probably get around to it someday, but from what I've heard

Very astute observation. (Indeed he/she does. Always. I definitly wasnt drunk saturday night and said Eeeeeyyyyy everytime Hughes came on screen when it came on CN. Nope, that didnt happen. My friends also didnt wonder what the shit I was doing acting even stranger than usual.)

Heroic Blue Screen of Death -- aka a term I stole wholesale from TV Tropes, and haven't yet found a better term for. It's when somebody does the BLANK MOTIONLESS STARE OF HORROR, despite being mid-battle scene or whatever, while their processor brain reboots from the horrible shock they have just received.

So, you know, what Ed does about once an episode.

And hee! I'm gratified! *laughing* My watching buddy and I have started to play it with new episodes, though we've only won once so far. The idea of anybody else doing so delights me enormously.

Heeeee. bookelfe and I, um, may have had a watching ritual of playing bingo after every single episode.

63 was pretty mighty with its number of squares filled, as I recall! Although so were a lot of ending episodes -- once the Promised Day started hitting, it was angst and mayhem all over the board.
