Have you tried posting it on donorschose.org? That might help. Not this specific fundraiser but a post to raise funds for the trip in general. Check it out.

I would, but I'm not in charge of the fundraising. And my efforts to help have been..... smiled upon as they're set aside. They (a small cadre of PTO parents) are happy with me opening my wallet and not my mouth, so I do what I can from the background.

*shrug* someone's gotta buy the cookies and cheer on the jog a thon.....

That's rough. That elite PTO club can be hard to work with, even if it for the good of the kids. At least you are doing what you can.
