Your party looks like so much fun! I wish our house was big enough to entertain. I know how you feel about avoiding a tattoo artist because you couldn't afford for them to finish your work. I got my chest piece done by this awesome artist in Oregon and then moved to Idaho shortly thereafter. I couldn't afford to come back and have the color put in and had to have an intern do it here. I've always regretted it because I know it would've been 10x's better if he did it and I feel bad because I know how proud he was of the piece.
Sorry that you didn't get your Christmas miracle. I think every single time that I've bought a pregnancy test, I end up getting my period the same day. It's like some kind of sick joke.

Hah, yeah I had that tattoo finished by a friend who had JUST started. And Brenner, who started it... well.. he owns three shops, travels the country and has a very popular video blog. He was just featured in Inked Magazine for being so awesome and successful lol.

It's just a really small kit. (I don't need much)
I guess that little box thing is the compressor.
I wasn't so sure about it, for $100, you can get one with a normal looking compressor, but the reviews were better on this one lol. I went with my gut on this one.

I bought an airbrush kit and my husband took it and painted his bike, and now it is lost in many places throughout the house. :( If you're experimenting with it, I always found it helpful to smooth some butter cream on a cardboard and pretend that is your cake instead, rather than using an entire cake. I got some fondant for Christmas, so I am going to be experimenting with that instead. Good luck. Can't wait to see what you make.

I thought about getting some foam rounds and covering them in fondant and making some "dummy cakes" lol
I have some friends who are artists and I'd like to do some collaborative pieces. I think it's going to be fun!

You and your friends really are freaking gorgeous! Is one a stylist? You can kind of tell when someone's friend is a stylist because ALL their friends have great hair.

I love Jimmy Eat World.

Haha YUP! The girl with the short hair, the girl with the red hair in the black and white dress and the girl with the dark hair and bangs... all stylists. Which is funny because I barely know how to do more than brush hair. So I NEED them in my life lol.
