One thing I have learned over many years of winter in Canada is that the sun lies. Way warmer when it's cloudy!

Ah, yes, I remember that from visiting my sister on her semester abroad in Vancouver in April 2009! You'd look outside where the sun was glaring and people ran around in t-shirts (my sister always said "Those are people from Ontario. They're weird.") and you'd step out in a sweater and promptly go back inside to pull out the warmest jacket you had...

Ich weiß, ich hab das auch schon gehört. Und in Berlin sind wir ja auch näher an der russischen Steppe (gefühlt, haha, man hört ja auch sehr viel Russisch hier in der Straßenbahn *head desk) als am Golfstrom...
