I get a warm feeling when I read his comments about working with the staff as a family... he seems so sincere. That's what I admire about him, that work ethic that I dont have ^^;;

I do some translating myself sometimes, and personally I find Gackt to be hard to translate many times, but you always do such a good job ^^d

Would it be appropriate for me to ask you to friend me? Or do you not do it that way? ^^;;

either way, thanks for the translations =D

Yeah, I wish I could be as hardworking as him too! He's always so inspiring, and reminds me how lazy I can be. XD;;

Ooh I didn't know you translate too! He really is hard to translate...I'm always afraid I'm not conveying the feelings behind the words right. ^^; But thanks for the encouraging words! I'll keep doing my best as long as people keep reading~~

Sure I can friend you! I was just thinking how it'd be nice to make more friends here~ But I do have to warn you about my personal posts...you might unfriend me after some of my pic spams. XD XD ja yoroshiku ne~

You're welcome!

Dont worry I like pics XD;;;

I dont post a whole lot of my translations publicly because I'm too scared I've done part of it wrong ^^;;; it's hard to understand what he's getting at sometimes...

I know the other day I didnt do ANYTHING except lay around and the whole time I thought to myself, Gackt would be disgusted with me right now XD;;;

Out of curiosity, do you have a Dears membership?

Gee, I was too taken with the man's daily habits I forgot to comment about Fuurinkazan and his role in it... I've been actively commenting on that in other sites, so I feel a bit worn out about it :P
He has a long way to walk still as an actor, but he is definitely on the right track and he's not to blame if he is offered to play one of Japan's top history heroes... just like that! :)
As a world history freak and particularly a Japan history avid reader, so far I think Gackt's done a decent job, one has to consider the script, and I don't think I'll be able to check that one anytime soon (will write NHK to get it? :P) But historically, both Kagetora and his deeds, albeit there are a few, not to obvious mishaps, are quite very well portrayed in general by His Gacktness.
If I struggle and get past Gackt's blinding beauty effect on me... I think I really CAN be as objective as possible about what he does ^_^

I agree too that he has been doing a fine job of playing Kagetora. I'm used to watching these Taiga dramas, so to me he fits right in with the other actors. ^^ And because he's not an actor by trade, I'm sure he is learning (or I should say, WAS learning) a lot from the others and will fall comfortably in his role as the episodes go on. I'm really looking forward to seeing him more!

sorry to butt in, but ROTFLMAO. That was priceless. The final conclusion: Gackt is not human. No one can be that perfect. period. XD

Ahhh..I forgot to comment on the content of the translations! I'm a dork. Gomen. ^__^;; Anywho, I love how everytime Gackt speaks of music, he philosophizes it and applies his own beliefs and analyses on it too. It shows a great deal of that enormous intellect behind the beauty that we're usually so overwhelmed by when he appears. XD

Ya know, his daily habits actually sound just like a Buddhist monk's. He said that he had been doing this routine for several years too...so that means before his Kenshin role. He embrced the essence of dedication and hard work long before Kenshin came along.

Anyway, thank you again for the translations. It made my year! ^__^

Hahaha, no problem! Thanks for coming back~ ^^

I love that too, how he always applies his own beliefs to all his work. It's nice to know what thoughts he has put into a piece of work because I think it makes us appreciate the finished product even more. ^^

Aah a Buddhist monk, huh? I've actually always wondered about his spiritual beliefs...But that aside, he definitely has been living that 'stoic' lifestyle for quite a while now!

You're welcome! And thanks for your comment too! :D

but basically there really are no instruments that I can’t play

....

Kawai! *glompz Gackt*

I've read the other blog translations b4 but not the biwa one. I like how he dissects and analyses music instead of just playing the instruments without thinking too much about it. I also like that he can express how he feels about the music with words that make sense even to someone who can't play any instrument (i.e. me).

XD Love his straightforwardness~ ^^

Yes yes, I love the way he talks about music in ways we can understand without knowing much about music. *is the same as you* ^^;
