This is just a premiere event, I assume. Has it been said when this will be on TV?

The first film is expected to air this autumn but there's no officially confirmed broadcast date yet.

Oh, that's sad. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm a huge fan of detective shows set in different eras: Ripper Street (set in the 1890s), Endeavour or George Gently (both set in the 1960s) and on top Gabriel Byrne is made of aweseome. If the cases are any good I'm sure I'll like it. :D

I've had Ripper Street lying on my computer for months XD
The cast looked amazing, so I thought I'd give it a try. Obviously they're still waiting for me to watch them XD

Eeek, Ripper Street is SO good, I may have bought the DVD immediately when it came out and rewatched all episodes once or twice since then. *cough*
