Two job offers, both $10k more than what I used to get. I am taking the "JOB 2" option. Slightly better pay, more diverse, expands my current skill-set, working with other design companies, more room for personal growth and more free time to dedicate to personal interests. Desicions a go-go
Last Friday was the Australian Design Awards dinner. After booking a ticket ($175 each!) for myself I was surprised to find I was placed in the middle, amongst some of the large design firms in Sydney. Our 73rd month tomorrow will be celebrated by seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show staring Iota. I will hopefully be able to swing by DesignEX for an hour or so before hand as my weekend will be filled up with a Sabbat game (psyched) and two day bucks party (double psyched). -
Movies and food
Finally saw A Scanner Darkly and Young Guns. A Scanner Darkly was awesome, I loved the tracing, the semi-blatant alluding to the secrets while your too distracted by the animation and the plot and other stuff was good. Easter Show 2008
Yesterday was the day that we ventured a good 10 minutes to the Easter Show (literary door to door by bus). It was damn good fun and we saw everything from the animals, wood-chopping and art to the freak-show, human vending machine and danger man.
