Yesterday was the day that we ventured a good 10 minutes to the Easter Show (literary door to door by bus). It was damn good fun and we saw everything from the animals, wood-chopping and art to the freak-show, human vending machine and danger man. Eye-con was a ripper. Managing to have the Sydney Cam at a con and convert a "roleplaying suck's balls" activist while still having to book a venue and create a damn fine registration system is a testament to the dedication of organisers and supporters. Is anyone considering on going to the Easter Show this year?

If we end up going we were thinking of a weekend (or public holiday).

Accompanied by KizzAnge on their first Easter Show together, this year proved to be allot better than last year. Great temperature, no rain, plenty of rides and no problems when it came to buying stuff. I chose not to get any bags this year (even the Darrell Lea's and King Island bags let me down) instead discovering a nice pair of jester slippers ( Read more... )
