a completely mind-boggling event

The setting: 1pm, Sunday afternoon. Late April. Ohio. Blizzard. (more on that later). SUV outside my kitchen window, as I make oatmeal and try to defrost my brain. good looking tall dark haired guy gets out of the suv, wanders around front of the house smoking. i lose interest. a few minutes later, enraged screeching comes from the SUV. i look up. 1: Love the name.

2: I cannot wait until it is cold. It's getting into the high 80s here in NC, and that's just too hot. And it's only April. Plus, the humidity is so...excessively present. I like the temperature to be where I can stand outside in the shade without overheating.
Now, granted, I'm going to be one of those people who has no idea what they are doing in the cold and "real" snow, having grown up in NC, but I'm happy to learn. As long as it's cold.

I can't wait. AC is..well, usually it's adaquate, right now the poor thing is a bit under the weather, we may be replacing it. But AC doesn't cool me down outside, and I really don't want to be as much of a computer junkie as I've been recently during the summer. Oh well.
Yeah, and I'ma reeeal suthurn-like. Y'all.
