Oh.

[Thankfully he pulls the Guide away from his face so it's not filling the screen any longer. He looks hesitant, as if he's not comfortable with this.]I have a question ( Read more... )

No one from my world is here, but there are many from my jurisdiction here. From what I can tell they've been here as long as nearly a year, and others arrived along with me.

What is the difference between your world and your jurisdiction?

Since I reside in Hell, I am outside of the world of my jurisdiction, my jurisdiction though is only a small part of the world. Most of it lies in a world isolated within the world called Gensokyo.

[He's giving her a closer look after that.]

You reside in Hell?

I haven't noticed any over-arching consistency, but it's more likely that more people from one world will appear, in that people seem to end up with at least one person from home they recognize at some point while on the ship than never seeing anyone at all.

I see. That is something to be hopeful for then.

It is. Are you hoping for anyone in particular?

Yes. I had friends on Earth I would like to see again.

My friends were here before I got here...and uh. And they're not all here now. People keep saying it's normal.

They were able to leave the ship? Where did they go?

Tact isn't really your thing, is it?

[Sigh.]

I don't know. Not home I guess, since that's not there. I-someone said if you leave the ship for too long you die.

[It really isn't.]

I hadn't heard that. Did they say how long is "too long"?

Yukito arrived only this month and I've been here for two.

[Making mental notes.]

Does Yukito remember you being gone for two months?

firecandyleo January 20 2011, 02:03:47 UTC
No. Actually, she is kinda form the past?

It doesn't make much sense, I know, but I remember lot more than she does.

Very little of this makes sense. I don't see what they gain by pulling people from the same world from different times.

I suppose there's really no explanation for any of it.

My friend arrived some months after me, but he was from my future.

[That's a new one.]

How far in your future?

singerinpink January 20 2011, 01:36:40 UTC
Many, many months. But then I got back and lived that too so now we're from the same time period.

... [Wait, what?]

You were returned home and then came back here?
