Gimme a T!

Dec 08, 2014 19:07

After much waiting, I was finally been able to start on my new T regime this weekend just gone. There were several hold-ups so it's taken much longer than I'd hoped. When I saw Iffy, I was halfway through my last box of Testogel and I wanted to start on the Tostran as soon as I finished it. The letter from Iffy took longer to arrive and then the ( Read more... )

That is a lot of rubbing into one's skin! How do you measure 3g or is it like one pump of the bottle?

One full pump is 0.5g, so it's 6 squirts to get 3g. It sounds a lot but it's actually way less than I had from the Testogel, that was 5g per packet and I was using two a day. It took ages to rub in. I had to put that on my sides though, which at least had the benefit of being less hairy...

It has a handy chart on the leaflet inside for those who can't maths so you can check and see how many squirts you need to do for 3g. THEY HAVE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING.

Urgh.. and you need to get those prescriptions from a doc? So with each one you need to pay for a visit?? I really hope for you that's not the case!!
hm.. rub it in with 1 finger?? Is there a reason why you can not use more? It seems like a nightmare to go through this every day!

No, I don't need to see a doctor to get a repeat prescription and I wouldn't have to pay to see a doctor anyway because we have free healthcare here. I can just ring the surgery and ask for a prescription to be printed out. It usually takes a day or two and then I can pick it up and take it to the chemist.

I don't understand why it specifies one finger, it's very bizarre.

Well, you could draw a 10x30 cm square on your tummy with a permanent marker...

That is rather bizarrely specific instructions (and needlessly so, it seems!)
Hope it does the trick for you

It wouldn't be so bad if they gave a reason for them. I fully expected to be told I had to stand on one leg, facing exactly north-north-west at 8.01 precisely. It just seems pointless!

Fingers crossed!

It's really runny gel as well and that doesn't make it any easier!
