25,700 words. Whew.

 22,000 words and change. I have an ending in sight, but not exactly sure of the final resolution. I should make it and have time for some revision before deadline. If it gets rejected, I'm using it as the basis for a novel.

18,600 words. Looking good. Possible resolution in sight.

 Civ 5 $17.00 through Steam? Yes, please.

14,000 words. More than half way there, but only 10 days to go. Second pass done on the first two sections and a new beginning.

Also, inspiration for a short novel hit during the con. Still making notes for proof of concept. May need to bounce ideas off people.
