I finally satisfied my Botak Jones craving last night. My virgin experience at that. That Botak burger was MASSIVE. I don't know how some people can finish a triple Botak burger. Not as juicy as Carls Junior, but for the price, portions and friendly service, it's a thumbs up.

aim for the LCA+, trust me, it's easier to use than the Smena. i have both..

the smena is too old a camera, and you really need a lot of discipline, money to buy and develop film if you ever wanna be any good at it -)

but both are on 35mm format right? so cost-wise?

Why is the smena tricky to master? i like it coz i can expose multiple times with extended shutter speeds =)

for starters, there is no mechanism to tell you how far you have wound the film. so you have to agar agar.

with the lca, it has a mechanism that stops you from winding past one frame.

multiple exposures aren't as easy as they sound because you'll probably end up over-exposing the film (shoot the same frame so many times, confirm over-burn)

so it is tricker to master than the LCA.

like i said, haha.. ive used both before.. you'll have more joy with the LCA if you can't be too arsed about making the cameras work for you
