Today is 'Fat Tuesday,' which means Lent starts tomorrow. When I was younger we always decided as a family what specific things we should give up (candy, t.v. shows, gum, etc.). For years I've been hearing about how important it is as a Christian to be in community with people (church, small groups, individual friends you can relate to and fellowship with, etc).
