Anyway, this is lovely. Carson would *so* not let someone who self-heals like that get away without an explanation. But how would Jack explain what Carson's scanner showed?

Teyla likes coming back to Earth with the rest of the team -- it's always entertaining to learn about the humans and their odd passtimes. The sheer variety of goods to shop for is stunning, and sometimes she can get lost for hours in their malls (it took her a while to realize that they weren't actually "mauls" and that Rodney was being facetious once again).
The little antique bead store is a favourite of hers, and she returns there every time they're back on Earth. I think I've found my new favorite crossover pairing. Friendship or otherwise, I think it might be interesting to put them together. *beams*

Thanks again! It was perfect!!

He doesn't care, though -- he wouldn't miss it for the world. Miss Pevensie is different, in the very best of ways. How many piano teachers -- especially not older women -- could you have serious discussions with about alternate universes and the relative passage of time between those universes and your own? And while he's been reading up on all of this in every book he can get his hands on, she seems to talk about it like it's utter truth instead of theory. As if she knowsShe always seems a little sad after their talks, too, and sometimes he feels really bad about making her feel that way, but he can't help himself. He's just so curious, and she's always willing to let him bounce ideas off her -- and sometimes, just sometimes, he thinks that she ( ... )
