Damn, I've been listening * T-Rex alot, and not just cause Marc Bolan was glitter-strewn pretty. so! I did go out last night. First stop: a show by Sandy Cleary, singing songs of Laura Nyro. I'm familiar with her as she used to perfrom as singin' king, Rod Thruster. Sandy was in excellent voice, and put across a song that she acknowledged as hokey, cheesey, by Laura Nyro... but her wholehearted unironic rendition of `Serious Playground' ( Read more... )
