It is amazing how little and how much has happened in the past month or so.

Grandpa slipped in to a coma-like state over the weekend, but not before he had a chance to see my uncle and my cute-as-a-button, pregnant cousin Michelle from Indiana. I remember when I was a little girl...
I just finished watching Obama's speech at the D.N.C. He said a lot of expected, predictable things (I did enjoy his "We must stand up and say, 'Eight is enough!'" comment, however - one can only hope that McCain will utilize a sitcom's title in such fantastic fashion) and I was left a little under whelmed for the most part.
