Thank you so much, Andi. Your prayers really mean a lot to me, and my mom, too. I'm sure my dad would also be grateful underneath all his discontent. God has been my only true comforter in this situation. It's actually ironic, yesterday night a friend was talking about his friend who has heart problems and has clinically died three times. The third time he died, he heard, "It's not your time yet," and then he was jolted awake. That story sort of made me smile, like maybe my friend was supposed to be there to tell me that story so I can be assured that even though there are no magic words to make the situation right, God is still there, and He'll never just abandon me like my dad did. Like you~ :D I feel lucky to have your friendship. You made me feel so much better yesterday. My sister was inside talking to my mom about her attorney at the time, and it was just too much for me to handle. I didn't realize that I hadn't laughed all day until I laughed on the phone with you. :D~ <3
Your faith in this situation, however small you may feel it to be, is miraculous. You're going through a very hard time right now, and like I told you on the phone, it's probably only going to get more complicated. But if you continue to hold to that small bit of hope that you do have, God will get you through this. There are storms in everyone's lives that must be fought through, and this one is yours. If you allow God to come in and calm the waves and wind, He will do it. This is a battle that's already fought and won.
I'm glad I was able to make you laugh. Even amidst all this crap, it's okay to feel happy and laugh about stuff. ♥
