Father God,
I pray for her and her family. I pray for broken bodies, broken hearts, broken families- there is so much healing that needs to happen there, Father. God, please, just be with them, comfort them, and help them to see You even through all of this insanity, to see that You are the perfect Comforter, the perfect Healer, and that You will make whole again what has been torn apart. Help the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing to begin, and plant forgiveness in their hearts, Father. Give them all wisdom to make the right choices, legally and financially. And Father, help me to be a messenger of Your Word, to be the light for her, to support her, even if silently. Father, I want to be there for her, and I want the words to say when she needs to hear something, and I want to know when to be silent, when my words won't be enough, but my presence on the other side of the phone will be. God ... heal everyone, help everyone, and help me to love her throughout all of this. I can't even find the words right now to ask this of You, because I'm hurting along with her. But God, please ... just ... please ...
