It is summer, and today was my day off from work, which is always nice. I am, however, wallowing in a large cesspool of stress and self-loathing. I am feeling quite a bit better now, except the girl to the right of me reaks of perfume, and it is inducing a headache. That is all.

I had my first fiction workshop today, and it went much more smoothly than I thought. People said they were generally impressed by my story and my use of language, as well as the complexity of characters and symbolism.
