Movies I saw last semester:
Suspiria (Dario Argento) 1977: I believe this guy was inducted in the B-Movie hall of fame recently. As in, 2002. I saw this at one of Pat's movie nights, and most remember thinking "Wow, they really appreciate red and blue spotlights." The movie didn't have much of a plot, but it was still done well. I tried to get my mother's family to stop giving gifts this year. There were some murmurs of assent from the women in the family, but they were hard to hear over the sound of the husbands shouting me down. They all want to appear the most generous of my grandmother's sons, but really they just want those gift checks my grandfather hands out every -
Revision
Revision is awkward. I have to revise my short story "The Porch" before I submit it to the class for workshop. I wrote its fourteen pages in one sitting a couple of weeks ago, and reread it tonight. Rififi
I don't remember much because it's been a while since I saw it. I remember it wasn't very nice towards women though. I think Rififi was the key word in a song a woman sang halfway through the film. Spring Cleaning
Lately I've been thinking to myself a lot lately, This would be a good thing to record in a livejournal. But then I never do record it. My vegetarian diet didn't go so well. I stayed off meat for a few days and then gave up over barbeque. But come on. Memphis does have great barbeque -
