HELP!!! iTunes m4a + Android = SUCK!

Anybody got any advice for getting Apple lossless .m4a music files to play on an Android (specifically a Samsung Galaxy II S Epic Touch)? Almost my entire iTunes collection consists of unprotected (non-DRM) .m4a files and forestmaster's Android doesn't want to play them despite their literature saying that the phone supports m4a files. sorry, not much help here. my android says it does a lot of things, but has to be coaxed, coddled, to play things like movie files, etc.

"this device doesn't support that file type"

LOL... literally. :)

I now understand why you miss your old iPhone after trying to resolve this issue. I know there are some really great features on the Androids, but I like being able to take the iPhone for granted... it just works. I am still trying to figure out a way to play those m4a's... I will find a way eventually...

I decided to try android because I thought it would intertwine nicely with my gmail and other google products. It kinda does, but I can't say any better than my old iphone did.
