Was it as simple as being in love and having a family? Could you forgive a lot more then?
She was deep in thought, in the kitchen, when she heard Sylar calling out. She blinked, glancing up from the stove where she was stirring some chocolate on low heat. "Sylar?" She called out even though she knew it was him. "We're in the kitchen." Well, she was the only one awake since Noah was curled up in his play pen at the east side of the kitchen. She liked to keep an eye on him.

"What are you making?" he asked curiously, and then glanced over to the the playpen and walked over to it, though when he saw that Noah was asleep he decided that it would be best to wait until later to hold him. "It smells delicious."

"Oh, unbaked cookies." She leaned over to get the butter and sugar as well, mixing it slowly into the pot. "My mom left some of my recipe books with me." She ducked her head a little, suddenly feeling shy as well as she peeked over at him. "She told me you brought her.....thank you."

"Oh...yeah, I figured that you might need her," he replied, grinning a bit now even. "She said she'd come whenever you wanted her, but I don't think she'll want me to go pick her up like I did this time. Flying doesn't seem to be her thing," he told her in a loud whisper before he chuckled, shaking his head a bit.
"So you had a good time with her then? That's good."
