Sylar had been worried about going back and seeing her, especially after the way their last…session, you could call it, had ended. The fact that she didn’t know whether or not she wanted to remember everything they had had together was still weighing heavily on his mind. A few years back he wouldn’t have cared, not really. He would have told her fine and just left, gone out and found someone else to amuse himself with, but now was different. They had a family together, and he couldn’t just walk away from that, especially with the way Molly was so attached to the both of them. It would break her, and he didn’t want to be responsible for that.
He hadn’t brought much with him this time. Normally he would have brought objects that were important to them, or had been, when she remembered, but this time all he had was a CD he planned to leave with her. If she didn’t want to remember, well, he was going to try not to push it, too much at least. And maybe that would be better, if she just had time to think, it would all suddenly click together. He hoped so, at least.
“Claire?” he called as he entered the house, biting his lower lip gently. “Or Noah? You around?”
