Sylar had been worried about going back and seeing her, especially after the way their last…session, you could call it, had ended. The fact that she didn’t know whether or not she wanted to remember everything they had had together was still weighing heavily on his mind. A few years back he wouldn’t have cared, not really. He would have told her

Was it as simple as being in love and having a family? Could you forgive a lot more then?
She was deep in thought, in the kitchen, when she heard Sylar calling out. She blinked, glancing up from the stove where she was stirring some chocolate on low heat. "Sylar?" She called out even though she knew it was him. "We're in the kitchen." Well, she was the only one awake since Noah was curled up in his play pen at the east side of the kitchen. She liked to keep an eye on him.

"What are you making?" he asked curiously, and then glanced over to the the playpen and walked over to it, though when he saw that Noah was asleep he decided that it would be best to wait until later to hold him. "It smells delicious."

"Oh, unbaked cookies." She leaned over to get the butter and sugar as well, mixing it slowly into the pot. "My mom left some of my recipe books with me." She ducked her head a little, suddenly feeling shy as well as she peeked over at him. "She told me you brought her.....thank you."

"Oh...yeah, I figured that you might need her," he replied, grinning a bit now even. "She said she'd come whenever you wanted her, but I don't think she'll want me to go pick her up like I did this time. Flying doesn't seem to be her thing," he told her in a loud whisper before he chuckled, shaking his head a bit.
"So you had a good time with her then? That's good."

Then she nodded. "It was good to see her. She helped a lot, with Noah." She glanced over her shoulder to where her...their....son was sleeping. When he made the comment about flying, she had to laugh softly. "I think she definitely prefers planes." She whispered back to him before nodding again. "We had a good time."
She moved the pot off of the burner and poured the mixture in with the dry ingredients before setting the pot aside. "How...how are things with you?" She asked, grabbing a spoon to stir things up.

"Yeah, I'll definitely get her a plane ticket next time, it was just kind of urgent," he replied, chuckling and shaking his head. "I'm glad though, that she managed to help out a bit, and that you had a good time? Are you feeling better, about him? He's a good kid... Uhm...has he shown you what he can do, yet?"
He bit his lip gently at the last question and glanced over at the play pen again before his attention was returned to her again with the question.
"How am I?" Horrible he thought, but he knew he couldn't say that to her. "I'm...keeping myself busy. Work, and then helping Molly with her ( ... )

"I understand why you did it." She nodded as she focused on the cookies and then she blinked up at him. "It wasn't like I wasn't okay with him before." She explained, keeping her voice soft. "He's my son after all, I just didn't remember him." Then she looked at him curiously. "What he can do?"
She could see the hesitation on his face and suddenly she wanted to hug him but she kept herself continuing her work. "How is Molly doing?"

"Good, good, I'm glad. And, I know, but..." he waved his hands a bit to gesture and words that he couldn't quite find. "You know." He paused a for a moment and then smiled, glancing over at Noah again. "He can become invisible."
"Molly she..." he paused again and glanced out the window, just to have somewhere to look other than at her. "She misses you. A lot. She's having fun though, with the summer school program, especially since it's all fun things she wanted to do. She's looking forward though...to, you know, if you come home."

She smiled briefly at Noah before glancing up at Sylar in surprise. "He does?" She looked confused. "He hasn't done that here." But, then again, the Haitian had been with them quite a bit. Plus Claire had convinced Noah before not to use his ability too much....she just didn't remember it.
For a moment it's clear she feels bad about Molly but then she sighed, looking at the stove. "I was thinking about that." She glanced sideways at him. "I know appearance is kind of important....and well, I think I should come back home. With you."

"Right." She remembered Molly's ability because she had heard about the Walker system and all that had happened at Kirby Plaza. "The ultimate game of hide and seek for them." She smiled a little before arching a brow. "I wonder what this baby will do." She rubbed a hand over the curve of her stomach.
"I'm glad, I want her to be happy." She nodded as she felt strangely....giddy. There was an excited flicker inside of her as she wondered about the sleeping arrangements but still, there was a worry. She cleared her throat before wincing a bit, pressing a hand to her side.

"Sounds like typical brother and sister stuff." She chuckled faintly, remembering all the times she used to fight with Lyle. "It'll get better as they both get older." But of course they would have to contend with the new baby as she grew up.
When Sylar touched her stomach, she paused and looked down before smiling softly. "Of course, she will." Her hand moved, almost touching his but then she was distracted by the wince.
When she could speak, she nodded while giving him a smile to reassure him she was fine. "Yes but she's okay. She just decided to boot me pretty good."

"She kicked you?" he asked, and for a moment he was blank, but once his mind processed it, a beaming smile spread across his face, one that, with what she remembered, she wouldn't have seen before. "She obviously knows that her Daddy is here!"
It was obvious that his whole body has just swelled with pride as he stared down at her stomach, and though he didn't want to cause her pain, he carefully moved his hand down to touch her stomach again. "Hello to you too, little one."
