MRI RESULTS

May 18, 2011 14:44

I got my MRI results today and I'm happy to report that I do not need surgery.

Really unnecessary to click. All BS behind the cut... )

rant, drivel and nonsense

Yeah....my doctors are all nuts. Perhaps they try to keep things light. I can respect that, as long as I get good news.

:D

Hooray for no surgery! Happy day!

(And, erm... perhaps pride for freaking out someone who supposedly should not be freaked out by like... anything?)

(XD I wrote new instead of no. Haven't had coffee today. It shows.)

It is a happy day!

I guess I should be proud about freaking out an Orthopedic surgeon with my trick shoulder. It was funny! "Your shoulder slips in and out, right?" Yep. See? *pop* "Stop it. Don't do that. You're freaking me out!"

*head scratch* O-kay? No prob, doc! Give me painkillers and a script for PT and I'll never come back. I PWOMISE!

Have a great day!

Thanks! PT is today, so it'll probably hurt lots and lots afterwards, but hopefully it'll feel better with a few weeks of therapy.

And freaking people out is fun! Especially when I managed to freak out an ORTHOPEDIC surgeon by popping my shoulder out of its socket. This guy OPERATES on joints for a living. WTF?

Have a good one!

Aww, that's wonderful news! Does it hurt when you pop your shoulder out of the socket...? It is rather disturbing just reading about it.:P But I'm happy for you and the fact that you don't need surgery. Hope your therapies go well!

It doesn't actually hurt to pop it out because the arm really never stays in the socket. In the first therapy session I did, the therapist stood next to me and held my arm in the socket as I did the exercises. Most of the pain is muscle spasm and general inflammation of the soft tissues. Hopefully, once the muscles get stronger, all that will ease up. I've got my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the well-wishing! I appreciate it!
