I think my understanding of Spanish is topping-out. It doesn't bother me that I still don't understand Cartageneros sometimes; people from Bogotá often don't either. I am finally certified in open-water scuba diving through PADI.  Because of my schedule and the diving shop's hours, I can only go during the weekends.  That's why moving beyond the beginner's course will be difficult.  The diving shop has two additional courses I am immediately interested in: the advanced course and the rescue diver course.  But I ( Read more... )

Question: can essays be peer-reviewed in a collaborative way?  I mean if someone were to hypothetically post an essay on LJ for their Friends to review and, assuming you had enough Friends willing to read through the whole thing, would it create a better essay ( Read more... )
