Does anyone here in Seattle happen to have a 1" button maker that I can borrow to make a few dozen buttons? I need it ASAP. I have all the parts, I just need the press.

I'm kind of not feeling 100% great.  I alternate between horrible stomach aches and stuffy nose.  The last few days it's just been a stuffy nose.  So I'm not at the Racer tonight.  But I'm getting stuff done at home, clearing out the studio clutter, etc.  And that feels good.  Hope to see you all next week...

At this week's meeting, Jim announced that in his opinion Nirvana is the best rock band ever. (or words to that effect). And yeah, they are one of the best of the best.

This got me thinking: who is MY vote for best rock band ever. The Clash comes to mind. Lots of groups come to mind, there are plenty of great rock bands to choose from: Led Zeppelin ( Read more... )

Bruce Bickford showed us some mind-blowing animation on his laptop tonight.  It was NOT computer animation.  It was the real deal.  It was sort of like having Henry Darger show you what he's been working on.  It was that amazing.
