Just dropped my parents off at the airport a couple of hours ago.   We had a very nice visit; it wasn't too long and I'm sad to see them go.  My mom is 75 years old, and I feel like a real ass for making her go through the torture of flying out here and walking up and down the steps to our apartment every day.  We just couldn't take enough time off ( Read more... )

As Dear Wife already posted, we went to the Virgin Music Festival in Baltimore this past weekend.  I was really there for The Who and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  Surprisingly, though I also enjoyed the music by some of the newer bands like Wolfmother and the Raconteurs, which was unexpected.  Wolfmother basically blends every '70s hard rock cliche ( Read more... )
