Parental Event Is Concluded

Just dropped my parents off at the airport a couple of hours ago.   We had a very nice visit; it wasn't too long and I'm sad to see them go.  My mom is 75 years old, and I feel like a real ass for making her go through the torture of flying out here and walking up and down the steps to our apartment every day.  We just couldn't take enough time off

Wow - 75? Mine is 58 and whiny about it. I thought you were our age....just shy of 40.

Glad the visit went well. I know what it's like to get together with your crazy family, so it's nice when it all goes so much better than you were kind of thinking it might.

Chris is not yet 40. It's his mom who's older than average. She was 36 when she had him.

Your mom is only in her 50s? Both my parents are in their 60s.
