Oh, fucking PURR. The world needs more Saiyuki yuri, and this has always been a kind of "oooh, kinky!" pairing of mine since I read vol 5. >_> And that pic you based this on didn't help any with reducing the GUH factor of the pairing.

....and then you add my favourite kinks and D/s dynamics to it. I swear, my brain exploded. <3333333333 ILU so much for writing this!

The characters were IC, the motivations were perfect and the whole piece flowed so sensually and smoothly...it had that rare ease of prose and consistency of pace that makes the best sex writing. All in all, damn fine work, and I'm all kinds of *drool* over this. ^__^

Ahahaha! Oh yeah.... :D That is such a great piece of artwork. There are so many interesting details in it, it just screams for fic. :) Hwan presents such an uptight face to the world in the series, it's long been obvious that there's gotta be some kink outlet underneath it all somewhere. Now yuri fans have a lovely art pic to prove it. :)

I actually like Hwan a lot, and have been wanting to write something about her for a very long time. She's an ambitious, intelligent woman who happens to be close to the center of important events. I wish we'd see more of her in the series.

I wasn't the one who requested that pairing on the kink meme, but I did put a very similar one - same pairing and shibari, although I hadn't asked for strap-ons - up at sickfic last February which, sadly, wasn't picked up....so I'm doubly grinny over this!

Yeah...I wind up too caught up in Nii's view of Houtou to really look at Hwan beyond the "ohh, poke her brain - poke it - she explodes so nicely!<3" but I do like her character. ^__^

My journal is <33333333 now, and Fujiko1601, who created it, is going to get MAD props soon in a giant acknowledgment post! ^__^ I love it so much....and yeah, I've been doing the manic grinning too, since yesterday!

LOL! The part in the meme comment about a recent birthday almost caused me to send a PM and ask if this was your prompt. I've been wrong concerning requesters before, though, and didn't quite dare. I'm really happy to know this prompt is yours. …And I seem to be in a habit of writing you b-day gifts. :D Had hoped to have a new installment of the b-day gift from *last* year ready by now, but can't seem to get past an ornery blocked section, somehow. :(

I really wasn't sure what kind of reception the fic would get with such an odd pairing, but the feedback has been lovely, which has made the writing (and the risk of tackling something so different from the "mainstream" Saiyuki fandom) more than worthwhile. :)

Heh heh. Yep! Thanks for your comment on the fic. :) I especially appreciate whenever someone is willing to try out a fic even if it isn't their particular kink. The kink memes are really great at providing a forum to experiment with new situations and pairings, and that's something that holds a lot of appeal for me. I'm so glad you enjoyed the result. :D

Oh wow. Just wow. Your writing never ceases to amaze me. This was so well written and just a wonderful read.

I agree, 'tis a shame there isn't more yuri in the Saiyuki world. But there are so few women it's hard to pull off. I think Hwan would be an interesting character to explore and I hope we get to see more of her as they move on into India.

I really like Hwan, and I really hope her character gets developed a bit more in the next series. Rumor has it that some of Gyokumen's back-story will become more apparent in the new series--which is very intriguing, and I wonder how much that back-story will focus on the interaction between her and Rasetsunyo. It all should be very interesting. I can't wait! :)
