Ah ha ha, I *thought* this one might have been you! *hearts* It's the only one of my prompts to have been picked up so far in this meme, but with such quality writing *and* for such an uncommon pairing, and yuri to boot in a fandom where femmeslash is understandably scarce, I am absolutely not complaining! ^_^

And yes, as I noted back in my raving comment for you on the meme, I've thought this was a story begging to be told ever since seeing that artbook pic of the ladies last year. So one of those previous requests you've mentioned -- I think it might have been in the general all-Minekura-titles meme? -- was also from me. But I really don't recall leaving this prompt anywhere else and if it was a more traditional exchange like Springkink, Yuletide, or the various Saiyuki-specific giftfic exchange comms, it definitely wasn't me, so now I'm curious who my pervy anon braintwin out there might be!

Thank you again for such a lovely piece of work. Is there a particular Gyokumen image -- that infamous artbook scene or something else? -- you'd like for an icon? It's the least I can do to show my gratitude for such a marvelous story.

LOL! The part in the meme comment about a recent birthday almost caused me to send a PM and ask if this was your prompt. I've been wrong concerning requesters before, though, and didn't quite dare. I'm really happy to know this prompt is yours. …And I seem to be in a habit of writing you b-day gifts. :D Had hoped to have a new installment of the b-day gift from *last* year ready by now, but can't seem to get past an ornery blocked section, somehow. :(

I really wasn't sure what kind of reception the fic would get with such an odd pairing, but the feedback has been lovely, which has made the writing (and the risk of tackling something so different from the "mainstream" Saiyuki fandom) more than worthwhile. :)

Ooh, cool! Yes, that was definitely one of the three. I was tempted by it back then, too! As mentioned in a comment above, the other sighting of Gyokumen/Hwan with shibari was in a multi-fandom challenge in late 2008/early 2009. It's so nice to know, now, who put in all the various requests! :D

Oh, oh oh! An icon would be swell! Yes, Gyokumen and Hwan together from the artbook would be perfect (however much of the two of them as will fit as will fit in those very small squares). Thank you!
