Random Thoughts ...
I've been working on weight loss for ~4 months, and seem to have hit a plateau. Since I've got a doctor-mandated check up in ~6wks, I'm going to try calorie cycling with the hopes that I can break out of the rut. Thank You Netflix, May I Have Another?
Waay back when the US switched from analog to digital TV signals, I sat down and figured out whether I would really miss regular tv broadcasts or not. Considering that I was usually watching movies or tv shows via Netflix, I decided that would be better than investigating cable. Just tried to read a fic, and ran smack into a few fic-killers. While I'll overlook some Brit-speak in fics set in the US (esp. if a Brit/other Crown subject is speaking), I really expect people to do basic research ( Read more... ) -

Eh, I am alive (really). Things have been *shrug* kinda busy for the past few months.

An Ode to My Freezer (or, Three Cookbooks and a Recipe)
Last September (right around this time, actually), I bought a chest freezer and its been an invaluable part of my kitchen ever since. I have more “counter” space, which gives me extra places to pile up crap, the cats have a new perch, and (best of all!) I have a place to store the vats and vats of food that I make.
