I saw a great movie tonight called "For the Bible Tells Me So." It explores homosexuality and its place in Christian faith. It follows the lives of four religious families who have gay or lesbian children. Hooray for living in a city. In Russia I charge $50 for singing or playing trumpet for a wedding. That is, for all of my preparation, rehearsal time, often music selection, and the actual day, I charge $50. and it sucks. But it could be way worse. Runny nose alternating with extremely congested nose plus sore throat and cough. I mean, that beats a flu and exploding out of both ends. It's just unpleasant. But I went to the doctor and he gave me some drugs. Hopefully I'll be all better by this weekend.

Today was my first day back to class after my relaxing Christmas break. So far it's been good. I had Italian at 8:30 with a professor I absolutely adore, and she didn't disappoint.
