Dreams still smacking me about the brainscape, telling me that I'm in an unnerving situation that is making me uncomfortable and nervous. Well, duh.  Really, I go to sleep thinking about happy things, and then dream about being late, being mocked, being lost, being chased, and general humiliation and confusion. Yay. I especially love the dreams ( Read more... )

Think of the wild dogs as dingos?

I suck at interviews, so I don't think I'll help much on that.

It's been ages since I interviewed, but what I always used to do was act as if I had the job already and this was just a formality, a sort of concluding making sure we are a good fit sort of thing. It's just a confidence-building trick, in the old mindsy.

OOh, I would be tempted to spring for a new camera and go cheap on the swimsuit to compensate. The Canon digital elph series (like the one Corihope has...)are very cool. Compact, easy to learn how to use, and take excellent pictures). They're not that pricey if you catch a good sale. Even if you don't get a new camera, definately get a big memory card, at least 2GB, for your existing camera. Otherwise, you'll be faced with the delete decision, which is no fun at all.

I found a good breakfast always helps me. It always helps to have someone quiz me on possible question. that is the best advice I can give. If you pick up any new tips that work good for you please post them. I can always make improvements on my interviewing too. you are going to have a blast on your trip!

Breakfast is good. Or lunch. And making sure you know where you're going. Always good. I generally try to go through a few practice questions on my way to the interview, too. Which works better when you're in your own car, rather than public transportation. Fewer odd stares, anyway.

It is normal to look up when you are thinking. And other places, too, depending upon WHAT you are thinking.

It is called NLP.

I think it is really interesting actually. I got this from a website. I'll post the link in my LJ. It is from here http://www.renewal.ca/nlp13.htm

"According to neurological research, eye movement both laterally and vertically seems to be associated with activating different parts of the brain. In the neurological literature, these movements are called lateral eye movements (LEM) and in NLP we call them eye accessing cues because they give us insights as to how people are accessing information."

And it doesn't look "werid" it looks normal. And it indicates that you are actually thinking about what you are saying, rather than lying.

Hey, thanks. It may be normal, but I apparently give the impression that I'm bored, or not paying attention. So I'm trying to cut down on it. I don't think I'll be able to erradicated it, since it's so brain linked.

I guess I think too much. ;)
