So I had an adventure yesterday. The definition of adventure this time falling in the "Someone having a horrific time of it" category. I'm fine now, and I'm going to be fine, to preface the story. Just so no one worries unnecessarily.

I woke up about 7 or so, fed the pets, everything normal. Had a couple funny dreams I thought I'd relate here - one ( Read more... )

Glad you are ok now... hope there are no repeat events of the kidney stone madness!

Poor you!

Perhaps we can take you for chocolate sometime later this week to ease the painful memories?

That sounds like much more fun. I prefer chocolate to painful episodes in the ER. Or having my neighbors all watch me walked out of my house by firefighters with blue hands. Chocolate - so doing that.

Oh, god, poor sweetie! They are supposed to be the worst. Do you need to change your diet or something?

Don't know. The dr at the ER said I didn't need to stay away from anything in particular. I asked. She said sometimes a surfeit of Vitamin C can cause it, but it's like 10 grams or more at a time that will do it, and I'm not taking anywhere near that much. I'm supposed to follow up with a urologist. Fun. I'll call them tomorrow and get an appt. My grandfather had one or two of these - not enough water. So I'm drinking more of that, and I'll try to keep that up. But I try to hydrate as it is, so I'm not sure if that's it.

writing group - probably out until 9 or 10. But I'm home tues night as far as I know. You might have a class. And I'm up for another hour - have to take antibiotics now.

Oh, man, I have heard that those can hurt like a motherf*cker....so sorry you had to go through that. Glad to hear it's over!

Oh Honey i am so sorry I would have been there to keep you company had I known you were in the hospital. I hope it is all better now, and yes definitely chocolate this week.

I'm fine. Soreness is even gone. So no worries for me. Thanks for the thought, though. See you soon.
