Needless to say....I've been quite absent...
Life has been a bit of a mixed bag of ups and downs since I wrote last. I've moved 3 times and managed to avoid the nasty weather last spring, albeit by a minuscule hair. I'm glad to say that I've found a job I enjoy and hope to be with the company for quite some time. I've returned to my artist roots and try to draw or do something artistic on a ( Read more... ) -
Jobless no more!!
Thanks to a suggestion of a friend, I am no longer unemployed. I now have a job, not the perfect job yet, but hey...take what you can get right now, right? I start my new job this coming Monday at 8am. I'm happy as a lark!! Anyway, just wanted to update my friends on here. My interesting bits as of late...
Well, I did not go to Wild Nights, and it was a good thing because my gall bladder, which has been bothering me since Sept. 2010, acted up that weekend. That Monday, I saw a surgeon and because the gall bladder had been going on for so long and causing enough pain that I needed narcotic meds to sleep, he decided that it needed to come out ASAP. After almost a year gone...I'm still here.
Much has happened since I wrote about my graduation. BUT, I now live closer to OKC and some of my fellows. I am back and hope to post upcoming things of interest as much as i can. That's it for now, it's DINNERTIME!!! ^^ -
Graduation Achieved!!!!
WOOT!!! As of Monday, May 17th, I am a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University!!! My older brother and his wife were able to come down from MN and my Dad and Aunt and Uncle from town all attended the ceremony. I am happy I have achieved this goal. I cried during one of the speeches because they mentioned how our parents and family were ( Read more... ) -

I am coming up on college graduation. My older brother was going to come, but he nor his wife can make it at that time. I mean...who holds a college graduation ceremony on a MONDAY night?!?!? HEAVY, happy sigh
It's been a long two weeks for me and my father. I'm glad to say he is getting better each day, even though his meds make him sleepy. Still looking for artistic help with Anu, but hopefully a friend will be able to help me out on that one. :o) Even if she can do the art, I don't mind other artistic minds helping out too. School info...
Today I made final arrangements for my graduation. I talked with the department head, got some papers from her and some other papers signed. Took it all to the registrar and they stamped it with their big stamp of approval! SO, YAY!!!! I'm done with classes in two weeks. So, I'm excited. -
YAY!!
Finally. my dad is home from the hospital and resting comfortably in "his" chair. Soon, I hope to be able to you his help to get some things done around the house like we had planned before this last week and a half of hospital stuff.
On another note, in preparation for my graduation, I got my hair cut and colored a little. I like it....:P -

I just got word today that I am graduating in 27 days!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! I'm am graduating this spring instead of Dec. because my Department Head approved me today!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
