Weight loss progress report
Haven't been keeping this up to date lately. Sorry for anyone who's terribly disappointed. Anyway, a quick update since it's the end of the month with some weight loss statistics. As of April 30th, my average weight trend was at 200.0 pounds even. As of May 31st, the trend is now 196.6, with a most recent weigh-in of 195.2. Weekly loss was 0.8 ( Read more... ) -

Okay, the whole water heater quick replacement thing? Not so much. Turns out we have an atypical installation that the normal replacement can't go into, so we have to have a special-order version which will take four days to get here. Go night. It was fun, although I didn't manage to win any games. In fact, I only managed to complete one game, which was on a 13x13 board. I lost that game by two points (as black) but was really pleased with it regardless. I think I may be starting to get the hang of it a little more now. Backfilled Softball
Quick note that we won our game today. I'm actually writing this nearly a week later, so I don't really remember much about the game, other than that I threw out two people who hit short grounders that died in front of the plate. Yay for defense for a change! -
We Have Some Winners!
Well, the seventh season of The Amazing Race has come to a close, and the nicest of the remaining teams won. Now, given, it's The Amazing Race, not The Amazing Kindness, but it's heartening to see a likeable team win.
