Draco, Marked, a Harry Potter Painting

Movies This Weekend

Watched X-Men First Class the other day. It was fabulous. I wouldn't compare it to The Dark Knight, but it was a very entertaining and successful reboot of the franchise. Overall, besides Beast, I'd say the special effects looked pretty good, especially Mystique, Wasp, and Emma Frost. I have a few complaints, though. ( Cut for X-Men spoilers )

I love the idea of a beautiful Draco, with that delicate coloring and bird-bone frame, with that badass defiant look you've given him there.

Thank you so much! I am glad my bird-like, delicate Draco really came through. I tried a different body type for him, but it just didn't work with that face...I really wanted to capture him as an adolescent, in between being a child and an adult.

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure if people could tell if the raven was raising its head and crowing(or cawing, whatever ravens do). I had to ask as many friends as possible to help beta that, and no one seemed to have trouble telling what the raven was doing, LOL. It's just not the usual position to find a raven's head in a painting.

This turned out lovely, and the bare butt is awsome, and look forward to seeing it in person as well. Woot, only a few more days until the train trip.

I'm really stressing out! I haven't started packing, haven't started preparing for my presentation at Lubricus, and I have a whole bunch of prints I haven't made yet. Stressing out!!!

Hopefully I'll be ready to relax by the time I get on the train. Should be the most awesome HP trip to date! So appropriate, taking a train :)

Don't stress tomuch, you have the ENTIRE weekend to pack and print out the prints. As for your lecture, you always have time on the train to work on it. :P I've been packing early just because I've needed the time due to my health.

I really don't have an entire weekend because I'm working 16 hours at LA Pride this weekend. BUT, I do have my evenings. So I'll use that to the max! Oh yeah, good point, I forgot about our train ride for presentation planning :D
