damn! This guy sounds mentally unstable. There must be horrendous pressure on him to make some kind of quota. Eitherway, I would have kicked him out of my house too.

I'm waiting to see if the company calls me today based on the e-mails I wrote.

Dude, he sounds like a jerk and all, but what do you have against paragraphs???

I'll paragraphs you!

He really was a jerk.

I laughed about it for most of the night.

Is this enough paragraphs to make up for the post?

I suppose. But although paragraphs CAN consist of just one sentence, you're really stretching it here...

And also, EEK! Don't paragraphs me! I'll send the mixer after you and you'll be all brownie-fied!

I would say thank god you had the experience you did. Sounds like a company in trouble to me if he was under that much pressure to sell as to go overboard over a standard sales request.

The whole story screams "Unethical Sales Tactics" to me...

Typically sales people only get that way when they know their product sucks or their company is going down the crapper.

I knew things were shakey when he didn't want me to go out and research the company for myself.

actually it sounds suspiciously like he was a fraud. I wouldn't be surprised if the company told you they had no one by that name working for them. He could have picked up the documents at some point and never actually worked for the company.

I got a call today from the owner of the company who said he was going to talk to the sales rep's manager but you could still be right.
