Useless Moon Update
Exactly one minute after I posted that my water broke! Amy Page Cleveland was born at 12:59pm on August 26th and is perfectly healthy. -

So much for a full moon baby. I'm now 5 days overdue. Grumble grumble. Chugging raspberry leaf tea and having Jeremy insert the Evening Primrose Oil for me because, well, I can't reach! I guess the good news is that I'll only be pregnant for another week. Doc is going to induce me on the 1st. -
Stupid Hospital
I've lived in the same area for 6 years and have never heard a good birthing story about this hospital. I know ppl are more likely to tell you about a bad birth than a good birth but still... 6 years!
Last week 3 ladies I know all had their babies at this hospital and all 3 of them had to have emergency C-sections. ALL THREE OF THEM!

I'm a bad Fur Mommy :(
Just got Penny's refill on heartworm from PetMeds and it always comes with a 4"x1" crunchy bone. My dog is a food hoarder and whenever she gets a treat she doesn't think she can gulp down in one bite she'll go bury it in the laundry or behind a curtain.. or in the couch.. Excited!
My mumsie is coming to visit next week! She has a conference in Kansas City this Tues-Fri and then I'm going to pick her up and we are going to go do a 3D ultrasound so she can see her granddaughter! Soooo excited. We'll probly go to the Oz museum and do some nursery beautification while she's here. Yaay mumsie time!! -
24 weeks
Amy and I had a check-up today. My biggest concern was my blood pressure. High BP during pregnancy leads to all kinds of problems and the only remedy is to actually give birth. Luckily, my BP is fine and I've only gained 6lbs, which doesn't seem right at all... but then I remember that I started about 10lbs heavier than my normal because of the ( Read more... ) -

I felt her!
I'll be 18 weeks pregnant on Saturday and I think I just felt her move for the first time. It felt like bubbles about 2 inches below my belly button, right where we pick up her heartbeat on our doppler. I thought I felt her last weekend, but given the location of those bubbles, I'm betting it was just pizza, not baby.
